Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre, PJSC through the Brunei Neuroscience Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre, BNSRC celebrates its first participant of its one-year fellowship program in Neurocritical Care. The matter was shared by the Executive Director of PJSC during a press conference, 18th May afternoon.

According to Doctor Haji Mazrul Adimin bin Haji Awang Besar, Neurocritical care is an essential facet of intensive care management that focuses on patients with life-threatening neurological and neurosurgical conditions. It bridges the gap between neurological complexities and critical care, ensuring comprehensive and effective treatment within specialised units for the patient. He added, the fellowship training ensures that the growing demand for specialised care in Neurointensive units in the nation is met. The fellowship program targets candidates who have completed postgraduate training in anaesthesiology, critical care, internal medicine, neurology, or neurosurgery.
