A foreigner was detained for further investigation during 'Operasi Kabat' that targeted a company that operates a cage fish farm in Mukim Serasa.

During the operation, the Law Enforcement Division of the Department of Immigration and National Registration found that the individual failed to produce any valid documents, and was believed to be overstaying in the country after his immigration pass expired, and working in a position that is not stated in the passport.

Meanwhile, another foreigner was apprehended during 'Operasi Bersepadu' by the Department of Fisheries, Department of Immigration and National Registration, and the Royal Customs and Excise Department. The joint operation targeted several fishing vessels and a house in Mukim Serasa. The individual was found to be overstaying in the country after his immigration pass expired, and working using a Visit Pass.
