In conjunction with International Day of Nurses and Midwives, the Ministry of Health held a Solat Hajat and Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony. The ceremony took place on 11th May afternoon, at Surau Nuurul 'Inayah, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. The ceremony commenced with a Hajat prayer and reading of Tahlil, followed by the reading of Doa Kesyukuran and Doa Peliharakan Sultan.

The ceremony ran concurrently with the presentation of donations from the Nursing Services Department to the department's intending haj pilgrims.
