Officials of organizations under the umbrella of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism on Nov 21 took part in a seminar on how to assess and write proposals for state investment projects in the information, culture and tourism sectors.

The seminar aimed to enrich the knowledge of relevant officials of planning and state investment about procedures needed while writing project proposals so that they can better mobilize foreign investments and implement state investment projects.

“The duties of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism involve various areas and must be compatible with all sectors as detailed and interconnected jobs,” said Director General of the Department of Planning and Finance Ms Phengchanh Phengmeuang, who added that the seminar represented the materialization of key decisions made at the Nationwide Meeting of Information, Culture and Tourism Affairs, Vision 2030, Strategy 2025 and the five-year development plan of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism for 2016-2020 to ensure that investment projects comply with relevant laws and regulations.
