The high demand for sugarcane drinks during Ramadhan gave multiple profits to sugarcane farm entrepreneurs. A local sugarcane entrepreneur in the Sinaut Agricultural Development Area of Tutong District when interviewed by RTB shared that sugarcane orders are usually received as early as six months before Ramadhan. 

Awang Haji Muhammad Ayub bin Haji Suhaili, manager and supplier of sugarcane from Syarikat ECO Nadi Agrobiz, has planted sugarcane for the past three years. The demand for sugarcane is now increasing, especially before every Ramadhan, with orders made in large quantities to ensure sufficient supply.

In the first year, he was only able to supply around 2 to 3 tons of sugar cane. Now, he has expanded the sugarcane crop to more than one acre and managed to produce 6 to 7 tons of sugarcane during Ramadhan. Not only providing mature sugarcane stalks to customers, the company is also famous for its sugarcane juice which is processed using machinery. It aims to ensure the quality of the sugarcane drinks are fresh and last longer.
