The Ministry of Defence through the Ihya and Ramadhan Outreach Program held a Third Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony. It took place on 9th April late afternoon, at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. Similar ceremonies were also held simultaneously at all surau in garrisons, camps and bases of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF; including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque. Also present was Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF.
