​The Short Message Service or SMS for the Brunei Darussalam Mosque Construction Fund for 1445 Hijrah/2024 is now open to the public, starting on 27th of February until the 26th of December 2024. The SMS for the Mosque Construction Fund launching ceremony and presentation of funds collected from the SMS for the Mosque Construction Fund 2023 were held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 27th February afternoon.

It was inaugurated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as Chairman of the fund's collection and issuance committee. A sum over $245,000 was collected via the SMS for the Mosque Construction Fund that was opened for 9 months. The donations were handed over by representatives from DST, Progresif and Imagine.
