​An Indonesian female was found guilty under the Immigration Act Chapter 17 for over staying in the country after her Work Pass has expired for 471 days.

30 year-old MIA MARISA was sentenced to 5 months imprisonment and an $800 fine, effective from 3rd of August 2023. She ran away from her employer and was reported to the Department of Immigration and National Registration.
