BERAKAS

This year's Youth Day exhibition carried the Youth Aspiration concept, showcasing aspiring youths as role models to their peers so that they can continue to be active in their respective fields. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam viewed the exhibition. Accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty's sons and brothers, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik; His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah; and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.

Skills and Knowledge; Youth's Contribution; and the Culture and Heritage were the three main focus of this year's Youth Day exhibition.

The Youth and Knowledge Cluster highlighted the youth's success through existing and new skills. The youth's contribution in upholding Wawasan Brunei Dua Ribu Tiga Puluh Lima was showcased in the Youth's Contribution Cluster.

The Youth Connect Open Space exhibition gave youths the opportunity to take part in programmes and training through workshops as well as forums that are provided by several agencies. Meanwhile, the Culture and Heritage Cluster highlighted the youth's work in preserving and strengthening Brunei's heritage and civilisation.

Three Excellent Youth projects were also showcased, underlining its success and achievement. The exhibition also involved 35 organisations on projects that support the development of youth in this country.

This year's National Youth Day celebration will be further enlivened with the Youth Day Festival. This provides an opportunity for youth and sports associations, youth groups and entrepreneurs to showcase their creativity as well as skills in organising side events.
