A local company was fined $5,000 after its representative pleaded guilty to charges of failing to pay income tax.
Bekeev Sdn Bhd failed to file return of income to the Collector of Income Tax for years ended December 31, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Senior Magistrate Haji Nabil Daraina bin Pehin Dato Ustaz Haji Badaruddin presided over the case. DPP Emily Goh represented the Public Prosecutor.
