Penaga Police Organise Meeting with Head of Mukims

A third quarter-year meeting was held yesterday at the Panaga Police Headquarters between the Acting Officer-in-Charge of Belait Police District and the heads of mukims, villages and longhouses of the district.

 


According to a statement released by the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), the meeting was held to share information about the criminal activities and traffic accidents as well as the issues affecting the district for the period of July 2016 to September 2016.

 


It also mentioned that the meeting touched on the activities of the Neighbourhood Watch committees of the Belait District such as crime prevention patrols and social activities.

 


Present to lead the meeting was the Acting Officer-in-Charge of Belait Police District Superintendent Pengiran Haji Abdul Salam bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Ghani.

 

A briefing was delivered by representatives from the four police stations in the district namely the Kuala Belait Police Station, Seria Police Station, Sungai Liang Police Station and — Labi Police Station discussed the statistics of the criminal cases, traffic accidents and violations under their jurisdictions.

 


After the briefing, a dialogue was held for the attendees to exchange ideas and information relating to the presentation and how to handle the cases.
