His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam, left Jeddah after concluding an Official Visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri were members of the Royal Family.

Prior to this, His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri kissed the Hajarul Aswad and performed Fardhu Asar Prayer at Masjidil Haram. Prior to leaving the holy city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri performed the Tawaf Wida'.

Doa Selamat was then read by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar.

Present at the Royal Pavilion of King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah to bid farewell to His Majesty and Her Majesty were His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah; His Excellency Doctor Majid bin Abdullah Alkassabi, Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Foreign Trade as the Minister-in-Attendance; and His Excellency Emad bin Abdulaziz Al-Muhanna, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam.

Also present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; and His Excellency Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Yusoff bin Haji Awang Ismail, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as their respective spouses. During the Official Visit, His Majesty attended a meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia; as well as visited the Islamic Arts Biennale in Jeddah and the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization in Madinah Al-Munawwarah. His Majesty and Her Majesty as well as members of the Royal Family also visited the Maqam of Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam as well as made the pilgrimage to Makkah Al-Mukarramah to perform Umrah.
