His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended a Meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, which was held at Al-Salam Palace, Jeddah. Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were members of the Royal Family.

His Majesty was welcomed upon arrival at Al-Salam Palace by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

His Majesty was then introduced to dignitaries from Saudi Arabia, and followed with the introduction of Brunei Darussalam's delegation to His Royal Highness. Also present was His Excellency Doctor Majid bin Abdullah Alkassabi, Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Foreign Trade as the Minister-in-Attendance.

During the Meeting, His Majesty expresses his sincere appreciation and deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri as well as members of the Royal Family during this visit to Saudi Arabia. Therefore, His Majesty believes that the close relationship between Brunei Darussalam and Saudi Arabia will continue to be strengthened through this official visit. In addition, His Majesty and His Royal Highness also touch on bilateral cooperation matters as well as efforts to expand cooperation for the greater benefit of the peoples of both countries.

After the meeting, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended a Dinner hosted by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
