His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, visited the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization, Madinah Al-Munawwarah. Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were members of the Royal Family.

 Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by Dr. Nasser Al-Zahrani, Secretary of the Board of Directors of International Exhibitions and Museums of the Biography of the Prophet and Islamic Civilization.

At the museum, His Majesty toured several galleries that showcases visual information and learning such as on the divinity of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala and As-sirah An-nabawiyah (the journey of the Prophet).

The International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization – which is located adjacent to the Masjid An-nabawi – is a museum, which among other things, is dedicated to the life journey of Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wassallam through his noble character and teachings; displaying the history of the Islamic world, monuments and artefacts; showing the impact of Muslims as well as contributions to human civilisation by using the latest technology and methods in promoting virtuous Islamic teachings. The museum also creates an educational entertainment (edutainment) platform which aims to maintain virtue, religious values, national identity and social cohesion.
