The Oil and Gas Discovery Centre (OGDC) will be conducting yet another innovative science camp which will take place this coming school holiday.

With the previous science camp receiving great response from the public, OGDC in a press release stated that it will be conducting its 'OGDC Eureka Camp 2016' for children aged nine to 12 years old.

To be held in December 5-7, the camp is about the enjoyment of discovering new things and gaining new experiences.

The OGDC team has managed to set up a few exciting adventures for the students to enjoy during the camp, most of which will be based on science and technology related programmes.

These science programmes are designed to promote innovation and creativity within a child and to develop their thinking skills to be more strategic and efficient.

A few of the activities students can look forward to include an exciting experience at OGDC's new upcoming science exhibition, Earth Quest, which will be launched on November 19, and exciting trips to the Brunei Darussalam Maritime Museum in the capital and Universiti Teknologi Brunei.

The closing date for the registration will be on November 15 with a joining fee of $25 per person and $18 per person for group registration. Slots are limited to 80 participants only. Interested parties may register online at www.ogdcbrunei.com.

On another note, OGDC is also looking for volunteers to help out during the camp. For further information on the Eureka Camp and volunteer registration, the public can visit www.ogdcbrunei.com or contact OGDC's reception counter at 3377200. Alternatively, the public can also send queries via email at [email protected].
