​Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA, with the cooperation of the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB, Department of Islamic Studies, Brunei Darussalam International Al-Azhar Alumni Association and Brunei Darussalam Arabic Society today held the National Arabic Conference.

The conference was attended by Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, UNISSA's Rector. The conference shared, discussed and planned the focus on the development of teaching Arabic among institutions in the country to enhance interest in the language.  Among other things, Associate Professor, Dr Siti Sara binti Haji Ahmad, UNISSA's Assistant Rector for Academic explained the role and direction of Arabic Language in accomplishing Wawasan Negara 2035. The event took place at UNISSA.
