UBD Host Japanese Anime Movie Fest

The Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam and the Japan Foundation will be holding the 'Japanese Anime Movie Festival' at The Core, Universiti Brunei Darussalam from October 14-16.

 


This event will be open to the public on October 15 and October 16 from lpm to 6pm. There will be four movies shown during the festival according to a press release.

 


There will be two Anime movies shown on October 15 and three Anime movies shown on October 16. As it is free of charge, anybody who wants to watch these movies may have to come early as seating will be on a 'first come, first served' basis.

 


On Saturday, the first movie `Princess Arete' will be shown at 1.30pm while '5 Centimeters per Second' will be shown at 4pm.

 


On Sunday, Miyori in the Sacred Forest' will be shown at 1.3Opm, '5 Centimeters Per second' at 3.45pm and 'The Place Promised In Our Early Days' will be shown at 5.20pm.

 


The movies are all animation movies and are in Japanese with English subtitles.
