His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Board of Governance, yesterday morning attended a Tahlil Ceremony dedicated to Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien; Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul Azim. The ceremony was organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah in conjunction with its 30th Anniversary. It was held at the Royal Mausoleum in the capital.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti as Deputy Chairman 2 of Yayasan's Board of Governance; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors.

The reading of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yaasin was led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Metassan bin Haji Tahir who also led the reading of Tahlil and Doa Arwah.

His Royal Highness then poured Ayeng Asah-Asahan or scented water over the tomb of Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien; Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul Azim. Also present were members of the Yayasan Board of Directors and the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans Board of Trustee.
