​His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Chairman of Yayasan Committee of Governors graced the Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in Conjunction with the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Yayasan. The ceremony was held on 5th October afternoon at Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital. Upon arrival His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti as Second Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Committee of Governors; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar Minister of Health as Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors and Doctor Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary for Planning, Land Use and Environment as Acting Managing Director of Yayasan. The mass Fardhu Asar prayer was led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Suhaili bin Haji Metali Al-Hafiz, Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque Officer, followed by Reading of Surah Yasin and Doa Kesyukuran.

His Royal Highness then presented donations from Yayasan to two Non-Governmental Organisations, NGO's. Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam received donation totalling to $100,000, while SMARTER Brunei received $50,000 in donation.

Throughout 30 years of its establishment, Yayasan has implemented various programmes, projects and activities to improve and stimulate socio-economic development and the well-being of the country's citizens and residents.
