AMBD Organise Capacity Building Course

Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD), in cooperation with the Southeast Asian Central Banks Research and Training Centre (SEACEN) and the Asian Development Bank under the Asean-Australia Development Cooperation programme, is organising the Liquidity Risk Course from September 26-28 at The Centrepoint Hotel in Gadong.
Present to officiate the course was Haji Adi Marhain bin Haji Leman, Assistant Managing Director of AMBD, who also delivered his welcoming remarks.
Liquidity Risk Course focuses on the identification, measurement and monitoring of liquidity risk as well as the assessment of risk governance and management in contextual condition, in accordance with the Basel Committee's Principles (BCPs) for sound liquidity risk governance and management process.
The course, which was customised for central banks/monetary authorities of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam, was attended by 34 officers, including officers from AMBD.
The Asean-Australia Development Cooperation Program (AADCP) is a long term partnership program between Australia and Asean to help the move towards the Asean Economic Community (AEC) and the post-2015 vision. The programme works to achieve three outcomes: progress in Asean Economic Community; Increased ASEC capacity; and continued partnership between Asean and Australia.
