Brunei Darussalam Scouts Day is celebrated every 1st of July. To commemorate the celebration, the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association held the Reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil Ceremony for the late parents and son of His Majesty, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul Azim. The ceremony took place at the Royal Mausoleum, yesterday morning.

Present was Dato Paduka Architect Awang Haji Idris bin Haji Abas, President of Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association. The ceremony commenced with the reading of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil led by Awang Haji Rosaimi bin Haji Othman, Headquarters' Acting Commissioner of Religious Division.
