As Muslims, we are required and encouraged to glorify and increase worship in the last ten nights of Ramadhan by emulating Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam. Among those reasons why Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam increased worship in the last ten nights of Ramadhan was to welcome Lailatul Qadr, the Night of Decree that is better than a thousand months. These were among the content of the Friday Sermon titled Enlivening the Last Ten Nights of Ramadhan.

According to the Imam or prayer leader, in our efforts to enliven the night of Lailatul Qadar, let us together emulate and practice what Rasululllah Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam has done. This includes 'i'tikaf' or spiritual retreat performed at mosque, increase prayers, Al-Quran reading, 'istighfar' or asking for Allah's forgiveness, supplications and alms giving.
