Early Endemic Phase Will Be Extended Until 15 April 2022

At the same media conference, the Minister of Home Affairs informed on the EXTENSION of the Early Endemic Phase.

 

With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the COVID-19 Steering Committee wishes to announce that the Early Endemic Phase under the National  COVID-19 Recovery Framework will be extended until Friday, 15th April 2022.

 

 However, the movement restriction which was implemented during "Operasi Peralihan", that is, the instruction to stay at home from 12 midnight till 4.00 in the morning will be no longer be extended starting Friday, 1st April 2022. This marks the end of "Operasi Peralihan" / "Operasi Pulih" after six months of its implementation in Brunei Darussalam since 1st October 2021.
