The Minister of Health also shared on the new features of the BruHealth application which will be introduced, starting on 24th March at 10 at night.
First is the Recovery Certificate feature. It is specifically for former COVID-19 cases to confirm that they have completed their quarantine and have recovered from COVID-19. The certificate is an official digital certificate which is a new feature in the BruHealth application that can be downloaded to be printed as a hardcopy, if required by any party who requires official proof of recovery from the Ministry of Health.
Secondly is the ART Feature with QR Code. The currently available ART feature will be updated to integrate the scannable QR Code on ART kits supplied by the Ministry of Health. The purpose of the QR Code scan is to ensure that the ART kit used is unique and not used repeatedly by any party, especially for COVID-19 patients who receive the care package; civil servants; guests for official Government events; and inbound travellers. However, the ART feature can still be used to submit ART reports that do not have a QR Code.
