The 29th Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE Convocation Ceremony continued yesterday with certificate presentations to 688 graduates. The final day of the ceremony took place at Dewan Musyawarah, International Convention Centre in Berakas.

 

In the morning's first session, 99 graduates received their Brunei Higher National Technical Education Certificate, HNTec while 143 received their Brunei National Technical Education Certificate, NTec. The graduates were from the IBTE School of Hospitality. Certificates were presented by Awang Haji Muhammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications. 2 graduates received the Best Student Award and one received the Special Student Award.

 

In the morning's second session, 160 graduates received the Brunei Higher National Technical Education Certificate, HNTec and 87 graduates received the Brunei National Technical Education Certificate, NTec.  Certificates were presented by Doctor Hajah Siti Haziah binti Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Head of the Manpower and Employment Council Secretariat, Prime Minister's Office. The graduates were from the IBTE School of Information and Communication Technology. The function coincided with the presentation of best Student Award and Special Student Award.
