As part of the measures to monitor the preparedness of education institutions in receiving students according to the set Standard Operating Procedure, SOP, the Ministry of Education delegation made a working visit yesterday at the Sufri Bolkiah Secondary school that is temporarily located at the Muda Hashim Secondary School building. Leading the delegation was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman, Minister of Education.

Currently the Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School building is still used as a COVID-19 Holding Area Tutong, CHAT, an isolation centre for COVID-19 patients. Among the goals of the working visit is to monitor the first phase of the physical teaching and learning at schools, take a closer look at the preparations for the second phase and scrutinise school facilities for students in the next phase. During the visit, the Minister of Education had the opportunity to interact with teachers and Year 10 and 11 students. Yang Berhormat also took a closer look at the school's hall, teacher's room, classrooms, canteen and others.
