4 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the country's total COVID-19 cases to 15,474.

 

The Ministry of Health in its press release also stated that out of the new cases, 3 are local while 1 is imported case. Meanwhile, 2,475 lab tests were carried out in the past 24 hours, with the rate of positive cases at 0.2 per cent.

 

One case is in Category 5, requiring oxygen assistance and is under close monitoring. There are 96 active cases after 6 cases recovered, bringing total recovered cases to 15,278. Meanwhile, the bed occupancy rate in isolation centres nationwide is 2.5 per cent.

 

As of 30th December 2021, the overall rate of the population who have received at least one dose of the vaccine is 94.5 per cent; 93.3 per cent have received two doses; while 21.2 per cent have received three doses of the vaccine.

 

For the movement restriction carried out from 10PM until 4AM yesterday morning, one violation of the directive nationwide was issued with a compound fine, which is violation of the directive to stay at home.
