5 New COVID-19 Cases In Brunei Darussalam

5 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed yesterday in Brunei Darussalam, bringing the total COVID-19 cases to 15,434.

 

The Ministry of Health in its press release also informed that 4 of the cases are local and 1 is import case. Meanwhile, 2,543 lab tests conducted in the past 24 hours. Therefore, the rate of positive cases is 0.2 percent.

 

One case in Category 4, requires oxygen assistance and is under close monitoring. 112 active cases are recorded after 33 cases recovered bringing the total recovered cases to 15,222. Meanwhile, the bed occupancy rate in isolation centres nationwide is 2.9 percent.

 

As of 23rd of December 2021, the overall rate of the population who have received at least one dose of the vaccine is 94.4 percent; 92.9 percent have received two doses; while 14.3 percent have received three doses of the vaccine.
