BERAKAS

Speaking on Child Care Centres, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports explained the ministry took note on the public views, especially the need for the reopening of the Child Care Centres during the implementation of normal working hours during the Endemic Phase.

Yang Berhormat said this matter has been and will continue be reviewed by the Steering Committee for COVID-19 from various aspects. It is important that the reopening of the centres to be evaluated in consideration of safety, health and need of Child Care Centres especially during the early endemic phase. The reopening and guidelines for Child Care Centres will be announced in the near future.

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports also expressed its appreciation to the public for the cooperation given in complying with the SOPs and Guidelines during the opening of the facilities under the Transition Phase. Cooperation in complying with SOPs and guidelines in the Endemic Phase should continue to be maintained to avoid the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Detailed guidelines are available at the website www.kkbs.gov.bn or www.jpm.gov.bn.
