An appreciation ceremony was recently held for Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff bin Haji Ismail, adviser to the Kampong Sengkurong 'B' Village Consultative Council (MPK), and Datin Dayang Hajah Samsiah binti Haji Abdul Rahman, adviser to the Women's Bureau of the MPK Kampong Sengkurong 'B'.

In his welcoming remarks, Awang Haji Musa bin Haji Tahir, the Penghulu of Mukim Sengkurong 'B', congratulated Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff, who previously served as the Deputy Minister of Education, on his appointment as the Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on March 23.

Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff was appointed adviser to the MPK Kampong Sengkurong in 2006, while Datin Dayang Hajah Samsiah became adviser to the Women's Bureau of the MPK Kampong Sengkurong 'B', in 2009.

The ceremony concluded with a presentation of tokens to the two guests of honour, followed by the recitation of the Doa Selamat.

Also present during the event were members of the MPK Kampong Sengkurong.
