2 New Records Set in 39th Inter School Track & Field Competition

The third day of the 39th Brunei Darussalam Inter-Schools & Colleges Track & Field Competition continued yesterday at Berakas Sports Complex.

 

In the morning final events; Hong Suan Muh of BSB Chung Hwa Secondary School won the Boys B Triple Jump event. silver went to Kon Wei Liang from KB Chung Hwa Secondary School and Muhd Haziq bin Noor Azwan Affandy of MSPSBS took bronze.

 

Abdul Aqil bin Abdul Kadir from Sports School won the Boys C Long Jump event, Abdul Matin Ar-Rahman Shah bin Zulkarnain from SMJA Secondary School took silver and bronze went to Mickelly Anak Jonsen from SOAS College.

 

Wee Tzu Wean @ John Neil of BSB Chung Hwa Secondary School won the Boys C Shotput event, Abdul Muiz bin Saidi from PIHM Serasa Secondary School took silver and bronze went to Lo Yee Long from Tanjong Maya Secondary School.

 

Melvin Anak Suliman of Anthony Abell College won the Boys C Javelin event. Silver went to Mohd Abdul Wafiiy bin Karim from RIPAS Secondary School and bronze went to Md Nur Al-Hadi Hilmi bin Fadzil from PJB PHAB Secondary School.

 

Felix Lo Jian Kae from KB Chung Hwa Secondary School won the Boys B Discus event and broke the record with his throw of 31.98m. The previous record was made by Aang Ho Lee from Sports School in 2006. Md Khairullah bin Kamarul from RIPAS Secondary School took silver and bronze went to Terry Zacky bin Yapat from Sports School.

 

Muhd Muizzuddin bin Haji Zainuddin from SOAS College won the Boys C 5,000m event, Kuek Chui Shong of Maktab Duli took silver and bronze went to Md Luqman Wadihan bin Ramlan from SMJA Secondary School.

 

The- afternoon final events saw Abdul Aqil bin Abdul Kadir of Sports School win the Boys C Triple Jump event. Carl Brian Perez Dadios of BSB Chung Hwa Secondary School took silver and Md Nur Fikri bin Kamaluddin from SOAS College won bronze.

 

Imam Mandi bin Suhaimi from Sayyidina Abu Bakar won the Boys B Long Jump event. Silver went to Md Abdul Wafiq bin Zulhabri from Berakas Secondary School and Kon Wei Liang of KB Chung Hwa Secondary School took bronze.

 

Gabriel Angqah of KB Chung Hwa Secondary School won the Boys B shotput event. Silver went to Brian Chin Ngee of BSB Chung Hwa Seecondary School and bronze went to Md Nur Azlie bin Awang Damit from PIHM Serasa Secondary School.

 

Brian Chin Ngee Kiat from BSB Chung Hwa Secondary School won the Boys B Javelin event, Dominic Dave Anak Daraman of Sultan Hassan Secondary School took silver and bronze went to Mohd Riyan Aiman bin Jail from Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School.

 

Lo Yee Long of Tanjong Maya Secondary School won the Boys C Discus event, Abdul Muiz bin Saidi from PIHM Serasa Secondary School took silver and bronze went to Wee Tzu Wean @ John Neil from BSB Chung Hwa Secondary School.

 

On the second day, Ching Hui Li @ Tshinly broke the record for the Girls B Discus event with her throw of 24.1m. She broke the record made in 2002 by Vanessa Pang of St Andrew's School.

 

Muhd Ridzuan Ikmal bin Md Jefri of Tanjong Maya Secondary School won the Boys B 1,500m event. Mohd Hadif bin Md Jefri of SMJA Secondary School took silver and nronze went to Woo Jun Fui from BSB Chung Hwa Secondary School.

 

Mohd Mu'iz Rafiuddin bin Abdul Rahim of Sports School won the Boys C 1,500m event.

 

Ronnie Tan from SOAS College took silver and bronze went to Ahmad Yazid bin Awang Hidup from PDSM Mentiri Secondary School.
