BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

Sabre Travel Network (TN) Brunei will host its annual travel fair on September 2, at the Green Quartz Multipurpose Hall on the 7th Floor of The Centrepoint Hotel in Gadong.

The announcement was made at a press conference at the Seasons Restaurant yesterday, by Awang Haji Mohd Halim bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the Senior Manager of Sales and Marketing at Sabre TN Brunei.

Also present were Evelyn Ang the Country Manager and Marketing Manager Awang Ali Rahim bin Haji Rani of Royal Brunei Airlines; Wong Siew Ling, the Head of Sales (Brunet, Sabah and Sarawak) at Singapore Airlines; Dayang Zurina binti Abdul Samad, the Director of Tourism Malaysia (Brunei); and Aariz Patrick Ng of the Branch Network Sales Management and Business Banking at the Baiduri Bank.

The three-day travel fair provides travel partners - including national tourist offices, hotels and travel agents - with a unique platform to showcase their products and services, and is open to members of the public, providing them with the convenience of shopping for a wide range of travel deals under a single roof.

"The Brunei Travel Fair is an important event, and Sabre TN Brunei is very proud to host this event again for the benefit of the Bruneians, the expatriate community, airline companies, travel trade partners, national tourist offices and our other business partners," said Karam Chand, the Chairman of Sabre Travel Network Brunei.

With around 13,800 visitors present at the 2015 travel fair, the organisers are confident that the number will increase this year.

More than 50 terminals are being provided to the nine Sabre-connected travel agencies participating at the fair to help them serve clients more efficiently.

According to Irene Soon, the General Manager of Sabre TN Brunei, the fair is an excellent opportunity for Brunei-based travellers to shop for both overseas and domestic travel packages.

"This fair is one of the signature events for Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), where it serves as a gesture of appreciation to customers for their continued support, offering them great value airfares over the weekend," said Mohd Hanif, the Acting Chief Commercial and Planning Officer for RB.

RB will be offering promotional tickets to all RB flight destinations, except Kota Kinabalu and Jeddah, which include the Early Bird Specials, December Specials and London Specials.
