BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

Politeknik Brunei and the Co-Curriculum Education Department at the Ministry of Education yesterday marked the official beginning of cooperation and collaboration between both parties to co-develop and organise programmes and activities for the students and youths of the nation.

The initiative is the culmination of previous collaborative efforts by both parties and the realisation that both sides would be able to utilise the shared knowledge and expertise. These programmes are meant to provide youths life skills needed for their future careers.

The guests of honour at the event were Denis Ho Mun Tai, Director of Politeknik Brunei, and Haji Aziz bin Haji Nayan, Acting Director of Co-Curriculum Education, Ministry of Education.

The first workshop was on public speaking.

Thirty Politeknik Brunei students are participating in the four-day workshop, which is facilitated by officers from the Akil Unit of the Co-Curriculum Education Department, headed by Hajah Hajidah binti Haji Abdul Wahab.

The ceremony yesterday took place at the One-Stop Centre, Politeknik Brunei, Ong Sum Ping Campus, Condominium Ong Sum Ping.
