ANGGEREK DESA, BRUNEI-MUARA
The Brunei-based creative agency, Kaleidoscope Studio, has relocated its premises to the iCentre in Kampong Anggerek Desa.
To mark this milestone, the agency announced their relocation and rebranding efforts to members of the public with recent a pop-sale that featured local vendors showcasing their arts and crafts and serving guests with scrumptious food and beverages.
The six-hour event, which began from 2pm and featured a special appearance by talented local singer Eia, also saw the announcements of upcoming events and initiatives that are in the pipeline.
"These new initiatives target the local art community with the hope of providing opportunities, developing skills and encouraging locals to step forward and showcase their talents," explained Lisa Ahmad, the founder of Kaleidoscope.
She hoped that by providing such a platform, it will open new doors for artistes, musicians, performances and other creatives to reach out, network and tap into overseas markets.
Kaleidoscope aspires to nurture and promote local creatives, while providing them greater support with a focus on 'Passion, Knowledge, Nature and Community' in mind.
At the same time, the agency also hopes to unite the public through unique shared experiences of art, music and culture.
Started in 2014, Kaleidoscope has been supporting and highlighting local visual artists, musicians and performers.
The recent event was deemed successful, as it highlighted pioneering creative hub iCentre as a vibrant 'space' to get busy and productive.
Kaleidoscope encourages Brunei's unique and diverse identity to be reflected by local creatives.
