200 Students Attended Language and Literature Bureau Motivational Talk

The Language and Literature Bureau yesterday held a motivational talk in the capital which saw the attendance of over 200 primary school students from Cluster 1.
The talk was delivered by Haji Mohd Khairul Izam bin Sulaiman, an officer from the Counselling Unit of the Schools Department of the Ministry of Education.
The talk aimed to answer the call made by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, on the significance of reading to produce a knowledgeable community to support the development programme of the nation.
It also sought to motivate the students to improve themselves and prepare them for the upcoming Year 6
Primary School Assessment (PSR) examination as well as encourage more students to frequent the library to revise their books.
A similar motivational talk was also conducted for secondary students who are about to take their upcoming BGCE 'O' level examinations which was attended by over 100 students from Cluster 1. The talk was delivered by Pengiran Hamiosmera bin Pengiran Haji Othman from the Schools Department.
