SUZHOU, China
The Chinese national team footballers started their mandatory two-week quarantine on Thursday on return from their World Cup qualification campaign in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Chinese side arrived at their quarantine hotel in Suzhou late on Thursday night after flying back from the UAE, where they won all their three games to reach the final round of the Asian Zone qualification.
A bubble has been created for them to hold training sessions under quarantine.
They will have to go through one-week home isolation after the mandatory 14-day quarantine, which means the Chinese side will release its players around July 8 to prepare for the Chinese Super League, which will restart in late July.
