To commemorate the 71st Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the Indonesian Community Association in Brunei Darussalam (PERMAI) recently held a tennis tournament at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Sports Complex with 32 participants playing doubles matches.

The sporting event's Category A winners were Dr. Muhaimin and Eko, whilst Category B was won by Bilhaki and Abdul Malik. They received their prizes from the Head of PERMAI, Agus Dida Setiawan.

The tournament was organised and made possible with the cooperation of PERMAI members and donations from the Indonesian community in Brunei, as well as sponsorships from Imperial Sports and The Rizqun International Hotel.
