Mexican Tigres UANL Reach FIFA Club World Cup Final

Andre Pierre Gignac's winning penalty helped Tigres UANL of Mexico to become the first Concacaf team to reach FIFA Club World Cup final after a 1-0 win over Copa Libertadores champions Palmeiras of Brazil on Sunday.
Palmeiras keeper Weverton pulled off a brilliant save to deny Gignac from point-blank range in the 36th minute.
Carlos Gonzalez was fouled by Palmeiras defender Luan Garcia in the box at 51st minutes before Gignac successfully converted the winning penalty for Tigres UANL.
The host team Al Duhail finished fifth by a 3-1 win over Asian champions Ulsan Hyundai of South Korea.
Edmilson Junior advanced unchallenged from midfield and gave Al Duhail a deserved lead in the 21st minute.
Shortly after the break, Yonn Bitgaram equalized for Ulsan Hyundai. But Al Duhail regained control while Mohammed Muntari volley into the net by Dudu's pass.
Almoez Ali added the third Al Duhail goal with a powerful right-foot shot in the 82nd minute, which helped the team to be cruising to an impressive victory.
UEFA Champions League winner Bayern Munich will face Al Ahly of Egypt for another spot in the final on Monday.
