UNISSA to Host ICILM 2016

GADONG, BRUNEI-MUARA
Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) will host the 1st International Conference on Islamic Leadership and Management (ICILM) 2016.
The conference, which carries the theme 'Dynamics of Sunnah-Based Leadership and Management', will take place on August 6.
The conference aims at collecting new or renewed studies and assemble leading Islamic scholars from different countries regionally and internationally to expand and enrich the research related to the Islamic leadership and management.
This was stated by Dr. Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani, Dean of Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, at a press conference held at UNISSA yesterday.
A total of 35 working papers will be presented during the one day conference by international and regionals speakers hailing from countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Algeria, Ireland, United States and Ghana. Papers presented during the event shall be in English, Malay or Arabic.
Dr. Abdul Nasir was happy to note that local speakers from UNISSA, local NGOs and banks will presented their respective working papers during the seminar.
This conference hoped to provide an opportunity for conference participants to gain knowledge and participate in discussion of issues related to the business, economy, finance, law, family and the community. Also present during the press conference was Dr. Kamru Salam bin Yusof, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Business and Management Sciences as well as officer from UNISSA.
