SUPDGHMS Feted Students to Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony

A Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was held at Pengiran Digadong Haji Mohd Salleh Religious School (SUPDGHMS) at Kampong Sungai Hanching for over 40 of its Primary 6 students yesterday.

 

The event saw the attendance of Dayang Hainsyisah binti Haji Mustafa, the school's Headmistress as the guest of honour.

 

The proceedings began with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Awang Julaihi bin Gapar, followed by the recitation of Al-Quran verses by the Primary 6 participants and continuing with the recitation of Takhtim by Primary 4 and 5 students.

 

Awang Ahmad Syaffie bin Aziz Soffre, a Primary 2 student then recited the Doa Khatam, followed by the recitation of Dikir Marhaban by male Primary 4 and 5 students.

 

The event then saw the sprinkling of scented flowers by the guest of honour and parents and guardian of the participants, followed by a certificate presentation to the participants of the Khatam Al-Quran.

 

The ceremony then concluded with a Doa Selamat.
