Brunei businesses can take advantage of the upcoming China-Asean Expo (CAEXPO) in Nanning this September to import high quality electric power equipment and new energy at a low price.

The CAEXPO stays committed to building a platform for China and Asean to strengthen bilateral cooperation and create more wealth in this regard.

China's electric power and energy technologies and relevant equipment are suitable for Asean member countries.

Apart from electric power and grid technologies, relevant equipment and new energy technology that are needed by the Asean countries will also be showcased at the CAEXPO. The CAEXPO has become an annual gathering of China's leading technology providers and equipment manufacturers in the field.

In line with the procurement intentions of the Asean countries, the upcoming 13th CAEXPO will showcase made-in-China equipment for power generation and transmission/distribution/transformation as well as relevant accessories.

China's latest technologies like solar, wind and biomass energy will also be on display. Chinese enterprises show great enthusiasm for joining the 13th CAEXPO Electric Power Equipment & New Energy Exhibition.

The exhibitors comprise China Datang Corporation, China National Nuclear Corporation, China Southern Power Grid Company Limited (CSPG), State Power Investment Corporation, China General Nuclear Power Group and Luneng Group, etc.

MICOE, a company engaging in application to solar energy, has taken part in the CAEXPO for three straight sessions.

"Blessed with sufficient light and heat, Asean member countries are suitable for developing solar energy, which happens to be our specialty. That's why we showcase our new technologies and products at the CAEXPO every year," said a MICOE representative.

The hope to bring more wealth to Asean power enterprises through the CAEXPO has come into reality step by step.

In the last two years, China and the Asean member countries has been promoting connectivity. This expo will further deepen and expand the bilateral cooperation in the energy field.

The industrial cooperation in electric power and new energy in particular has been given prominence. In June, the Chinese energy authority proposed and set up a federation of Chinese enterprises for international industrial cooperation in electric power, which will advance the China-Asean cooperation in power grid connectivity, new energy developing and construction .of large-scaled power plants. The Chinese government places  great importance to the industrial cooperation with Asean in electric power.

The upcoming 13th CAEXPO will continue to host programmes for industrial cooperation and government officials, representatives of international financial organisations, experts, scholars and business elites from the Asean member countries and other economies of the Belt and Road initiative will be invited for discussions on priority fields and approaches to establish and improve a mechanism for international industrial
