BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

The Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) recently organised a two-day 'Graduate on Time' workshop, conducted by Dr Othman Talib, an expert in education science, quick thesis-writing and management of articles, who is also a senior lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia.

The workshop was geared towards improving the analytical skills of local academics and postgraduate students, in addition to exposing them to current methods of research.

On the first day, Dr Othman conducted a module on 'Management of Articles, Writing and Zero Draft of Thesis', while on the second day, he presented a module on the management of Atlas.

The workshop received an encouraging response from the 89 participants comprising academics and postgraduate students from UNISSA, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) and some government officials.

The workshop ended on Wednesday, with a presentation of certificates to the participants by Dr Awang Haji Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad, the Deputy Rector of UNISSA.
