The Deputy Minister of Defence, First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, received a farewell call on Tuesday by Captain (N) Yves Postec, the outgoing French Defence Attache in Singapore accredited to Brunei Darussalam.
Also attending the call was H. E. Loan Forgeron, Ambassador of the Republic of France to Brunei Darussalam.
During the call, the Deputy Minister of Defence expressed pleasure that Brunei Darussalam and the French Republic share cordial and active defence relationship with one another. Both sides have actively participated in defence exhibitions, exchange of visits, as well as conducting the biennial bilateral Joint Defence Working Committee.
The Deputy Minister of Defence also thanked the Defence Attaché for his work in enhancing bilateral defence relations during his tenure.
Captain (N) Philippe Bauzon replaces Captain (N) Postec, effective March 2016.
