Problems faced by mosque officers under the Mosque Affairs Department were yesterday raised during a dialogue with Mosque Affairs Director Awang Haji Abdul Rajid bin Awang Haji Mohd Salleh, in hopes of improving the administrative structure of the mosques and for leadership at mosques to be of high quality and excellence.

Held at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Muta-Wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School in Kampong Serusop, the dialogue was attended by Mosque Affairs Acting Assistant Director Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Awang  Haji Masri, division heads and officers from the Department of Mosque Affairs, as well as mosque officials from the Brunei-Muara District.

The dialogue aimed to enhance relations between mosque officers and the director; improve credibility of officers and staff in the administration of a mosque; produce mosque officers who are excellent, dynamic and of good quality; and exchange ideas on the best way to glorify mosques, among others.
