Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) became host yesterday for delegations from the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Batusangkar, Sumatera Barat, Republic of Indonesia and Rajapark Institute Yala, Thailand according to a press release issued by UNISSA.

UNISSA received the delegation from lAIN Batusangkar in the morning which was led by the Rector of the institute, Dr Kasmuri Selamat along with the Deputy Rector of Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr Rizal, M Ag.

Thirty-seven delegates from the Rajapark Institute Yala, Thailand, visited UNISSA in the afternoon and were led by the Director of the institution, Associate Professor Kasem Benchawong.

Both delegations were welcomed by the Deputy Rector of UNISSA, Dr Haji Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad.

The purpose of the visit from the two delegations was to enhance the relationship and academic cooperation with the Islamic institutions on a regional and international level.
