The all new Jaguar F-Pace is the world's first and most anticipated Jaguar SUV, where this latest addition to Jaguar's bloodline is renowned for its agility, responsiveness and refinement. Together with unrivalled desirability, usability and versatility, the F-Pace' presence on the urban road would definitely create a wake of envies among the onlookers.

Indera Motors Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Jaguar and Land-Rover in Brunei, yesterday officially launched the Jaguar F-Pace at the Radisson Hotel, with Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Abdul Rashid bin Pengiran Kerma Raja Pengiran Haji Kamarulzaman officiating the launch as the guest of honour.The event was also attended by about 200 invited guests.

The event saw a welcoming speech by Dayang Noormala Othman, Senior Executive Manager of Indera Motors Sdn Bhd, prior to the launch, in which she highlighted that the all-new Jaguar F-Pace is another milestone for Indera Motors. Carrying the design vision of the C-X17 concept together with features shared from the exemplary Jaguar F-Type, the Jaguar F-Pace emphasises the vision Indera Motors has on the super premium segment for the people in Brunei.

The Jaguar F-Pace comes in two variants, the F-Pace R-Sport with 340HP, 3.0-litre Supercharged V6 AWD Petrol; and the F-Pace S with 380HP, 3.0-litre Supercharged V6 AWD petrol, with an all-aluminium engine that delivers instant access to high levels of torque at all engine speeds and unique soundtrack.

A special model called the First Edition with the vibrant and unique Caesium Blue colour also made its debut in Brunei, equipped with 22-inch wheels, full LED headlights, Gloss Black fender vents and a sliding panoramic roof, its production is only limited to 2,000 units worldwide and there is only one unit in Brunei.

Besides the graphics of the LED tail-lights, the muscular rear haunches the sleek roofline and the familiar fender vents design, Noormala added that it also retains the iconic identities of a Jaguar - the bold front grille and the power bulge along the full length of the aluminium bonnet.

"We are proud to also introduce the world's first Jaguar Activity key," said Noormala. "It is a waterproof, shockproof wristband with an integrated transponder - a convenient technology taken to the extreme, especially for those with an active lifestyle."

Developed using Jaguar's Aluminium Intensive Architecture, the all-new F-Pace consists of 80 per cent aluminium, making it the only aluminium monocoque in its segment, combined with advanced high strength steels joined by self-piercing rivets, structural adhesive and spot-welds, the F-pace is able to deliver inherently light and stiff body structure, which is a well-proven innovation as shared among its older siblings - the XE, XF, XJ and F-Type.

The new Jaguar F-Pace offers a first class cabin experience where the interior is spacious and is a true display of luxury featuring premium materials, craftsmanship and meticulous attention to  detail that gives every Jaguar its unique sense of occasion.

It is a five seater vehicle with a touch of modern interior design, slender roof pillarsand has a large windscreen that enables an excellent all round visibility. “The all new F-pace is ready to become the trendsetter in the automotive industry” said Noormala.
