Ulu Belait - The members of 1stopBrunei Wildlife Club of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) recently embarked on an adventure to Ulu Belait to discover more about wildlife there. The group was led by its founder, Muhd Shavez who is also an incubatee at Entreprenuership of UBD.
The group tracked at least 50 species of birds and identified some of them such as the Greater Racket Tailed Drongo as well as Black Hornbills. Their five-hour venture in the deep forest managed to spot other rare animals such as pig-tailed macaque and civet cats.
The club organises weekly trips and conducts educational talks on wild animals to schools. For more information on the club, members of the public can visit its Facebook page lstopbrunei wildlife, or Instagram @wildlifeclub.
