Singapore: Two statutory boards are getting new chairman with effect from Jan 1.

Current Singapore Totalisator Board chairman Mr Moses Lee will become chairman of Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC). He replaces Dr Loo Choon Yong, who is stepping down as SDC's chairman to chair JTC Corporation (JTC).

Mr Lee is a former Commissioner of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, and was Permanent Secretary in the then-Labour Ministry, the Ministry of Community Development, and the Health Ministry.

In a statement announcing the changes today, the Ministry for Trade and Industry said that Mr Lee "will provide sound strategic guidance to SDC as it implements its next phase of the Sentosa Masterplan".
