Kota Kinabalu: Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club (BNBBC) Malaysia Deputy Chairman Datuk Bung Moktar called on Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman to invoke his immigration powers to bar Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Vice President Tian Chua from entering into Sabah in the future.
He said Tian Chua was inhumane and rude when alleging the Lahad Datu incident was a conspiracy by Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN).
Bung said Tian Chua's statement was aimed at creating hatred among the people for the BN government in the hope they would switch support to the opposition.
"As the BNBBC deputy chairman I strongly condemn Tian Chua's statement É even after the nation lost eight security personnel and three others injured, he (Tian Chua) still refused to apologise.
This shows just how cold is his heart," he told the Daily Express here Tuesday.
In this respect, Bung said, the police need to bring Tian Chua to book for making a very serious allegation.
Meanwhile, Umno Sepanggar Chief, Datuk Jumat Idris said Tian Chua had made a very insulting remark to the people of Sabah who had been tense since day one of the intrusion.
On another note, Jumat urged the people in Sepanggar to trust the security forces and verify all the SMSes and calls received particularly those involving the area here.
SMSes went viral on Monday that a group of 500 gunmen was spotted in Sepanggar Bay sparking panic among the people there.
"I have gone to the villages and request all the JKKKs and village heads to conduct patrols with the Rela Corps.
I also requested that they would be able to calm things down," he said.
Idris said he had also met with the ethnic community heads including Suluk in Sepanggar who had given him assurance that they would not be influenced by the action of intruders.
