Kuching: Hundreds of durian lovers thronged Bank Rakyat's premises at Satok during their fourth ‘Jom Makan Durian' event yesterday.

This year, the bank distributed more than 1,000 durians to members of the public and clients.

People from all walks of life, including durian lovers from Samarahan, made a beeline to the bank.

Even young children were in the thick of action as they feasted on the free durians.

The event was organised by the bank to thank clients for their support as well as to serve as a platform to foster stronger client-bank relationship.

Besides ‘Jom Makan Durian', Bank Rakyat also organises ‘Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri' on an annual basis.

Meanwhile, Bank Rakyat is currently holding a ‘Simpan dan Menang' (Save and Win) campaign which offers prizes totalling RM716,000.
